HR Manager – Vancouver
Salary: $100-140k per annum plus 10%-15% bonus

With a dynamic team of over 50 exceptionally talented individuals spread across Canada, the United States, and Europe, they’re gearing up for some major expansion ahead. Right now, they’re eagerly searching for an experienced HR Manager to take the lead in their HR function. This role is absolutely crucial as it will not only shape the company’s culture but also oversee all HR operations and growth.

Responsibilities:
 
Human Resources:

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, compensation, benefits, and more.
  • Manage HRIS systems to maintain accurate information.
  • Resolve HR issues and provide support in employee relations matters.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and assist in organizing events.
  • Oversee HR department budget.
  • Foster a consistent company culture across multiple offices.
  • Manage office administration and operations.
  • Implement scalable HR programs and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employee-related rules and regulations.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required.

Recruiting and Retention:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Review job descriptions, post job ads, screen resumes, and conduct interviews.
  • Perform reference checks and background screenings.
  • Facilitate new employee orientations.
  • Implement retention strategies.
  • Address workforce needs with the leadership team.
  • Compensation:
  • Review compensation and benefit plans regularly.
  • Perform market research to ensure competitive pay.
  • Manage payroll processes.
  • Administer benefit programs.

Career Development and Performance Reviews:

  • Facilitate training and development programs.
  • Set business-aligned, measurable goals.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback.
  • Lead the annual performance review process.
  • Support department succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a business-related field.
  • CPHR Designation.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS systems.
  • Experience in brands and retail/apparel industry preferred.
  • Experience managing international employees.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Willingness to travel.
