HR Generalist Job – Temporary & contract work
(Multiple Locations in Downtown and Greater Vancouver)
Hourly rate: $30-42 per hour

The role:
As a Temporary HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. Acting as a trusted liaison between various departments, you will gain invaluable insights into HR strategy, expand your professional network, relish the challenges of a dynamic environment, and make significant contributions to the organization’s smooth operation.
 
Typical responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the maintenance and updating of HR records.
• Preparing and generating HR reports.
• Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Administering employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Supporting employee relations activities and conflict resolution.
• Assisting with performance management processes.
• Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Contributing to HR reporting and data analysis.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on HR projects.
• Providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.

 
Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Possession of HR-related certification or relevant HR qualifications is preferred.
• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel and HRIS systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a proactive approach to addressing issues and challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
• Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and communications.
